Sharp Analytics Announces Investment from Grow Utah Ventures
November 17, 2005
Sharp Analytics, a marketing analytics and database marketing company, has received funding from Grow Utah Ventures, a prominent company supporting Utah’s entrepreneurs. Grow Utah is headed by Alan Hall and T. Craig Bott. Hall will also serve on the board of directors for Sharp Analytics.
Sharp Analytics bridges the natural gap between marketers and IT by making complex customer data easily accessible and actionable for marketers without increasing the workload of a company’s IT department. Sharp’s Felix marketing platform sifts through mountains of customer information returning only relevant and actionable customer knowledge.
“The proprietary models built into Felix predict what your customer will purchase next and identify those customers that are at risk of becoming inactive. Felix helps marketers develop meaningful relationships that create real loyalty,” said Christian Faulconer, CTO of Sharp Analytics.
Senior Vice President of Marketing at Zions Bank, Steve Thomas said, “Working with Sharp has been great. They provide us with actionable insight into our data that will help us better target our customers.” Other companies such as Princess Cruise Lines, P&G, and Kraft also trust Sharp Analytics to help them develop meaningful relationships with their customers and prospects.
“We are excited about our new relationship with Grow Utah Ventures. They bring a wealth of experience and key strategic partnerships that will be a real asset for both Sharp Analytics and our customers,” said Chuck Sharp, CEO of Sharp Analytics.
