"Unleashing Ideas" is the theme for the 2008 Global Entrepreneurship Week, sponsored by the venerable Kauffman Foundation, Ernst & Young, IBM and other partners. Here in Utah, the Nov. 17-23 celebration includes campus lectures and Chamber of Commerce events across the state as well as other activities, with the culmination being an all-day, concurrent entrepreneur and angel investment conference, followed by an evening "Business Ignitor" social.

THURSDAY, NOV. 20 is the "sleeves-rolled-up" event, offering implementable business practices, as well as opportunities for mentoring and exchange between investors and entrepreneurs—master entrepreneurs and newer entrepreneurs alike. The conference features a world-class lineup of speakers from both in- and out-of-state.

Save the date—Thursday, Nov. 20-- for "High-Growth Entrepreneurism: Expanding the Spectrum."

The conference will offer multi-track entrepreneurial programming, while the investor portion, targeting angel investors and venture capitalists throughout the whole state, represents the third-annual Angel Summit hosted by Grow Utah Ventures, and this, year, also by the Angel Capital Association. Information TBA.
